Recognized as “The Voice” of the Latin American and Iberian Art Song Patricia Caicedo has sung in the United States, Canada, Germany, Denmark, Holland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Russia, Puerto Rico and Latin-America to public and critical acclaim.

As a musicologist Dr. Caicedo is recognized as a leading expert in the study and perfomance of the Latin American & Iberian art song.

Her pioneering books are consider reference books in the field.

Caicedo has several CDs with mainly first time recordings of Latin American & Iberian Art Songs in Spanish, Catalan and Portuguese.

Patricia received her doctorate in musicology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and her Medical Doctor´s degree from the Escuela Colombiana de Medicina.



Born in Brasília-DF, Brazil Lenine Santos is considered one of the best interpreters of Brazilian music.

He finished his PhD in Music at São Paulo State University – UNESP – focusing his dissertation on Brazilian Chamber Music.

Lenine began his musical career at a very young age with the String Orchestra of SESI, studying violin. Later on, he entered the Brasília School of Music where he studied voice technique. He also took classes at the University of Campinas – UNICAMP – in the State of São Paulo with the well  known singer Niza de Castro Tank.

Lenine has numerous recordings of Brazilian Art Song and has an active agenda as a voice teacher in Brazil and Barcelona.



Prof. Clark’s specialty is the music of Spain and Latin America, and he is the founder/director of the Center for Iberian and Latin American Music at the University of California, Riverside.

He is the series editor for Oxford University Press’s Currents in Latin American and Iberian Music, editor-in-chief for the Ibero-American area of Grove Music Online, and he also serves on the editorial boards of Revista de Musicología, Monumentos de la música española, and Música em contexto.

He received his doctorate in musicology from UCLA (1992), where he wrote his dissertation under the guidance of the late Robert M. Stevenson. He also holds performance degrees in classical guitar from the North Carolina School of the Arts (B.M.), where he studied with Jesús Silva and performed in a master class with Andrés Segovia; and the University of California, San Diego (M.A.), where he was a student of Pepe Romero.


Journalist & Linguist

Born in Girona, Catalunya, journalist and linguist Anna Martí have devoted most of her life to perfect her mother tongue, the Catalan. She have been trained with some of the most important experts in Catalan language achieving the highest degrees of Catalan spoken and written.



Born in Greece and resident of Barcelona, Nikos received a PhD in Piano Performance Practice at Goldsmiths, University of London under the supervision of Keith Potter and Andrew Zolinsky. His area of research is Ludwig van, a film and a musical composition on Beethoven by the Argentinian composer Mauricio Kagel.

He has participated in several competitions and won, among others, two first prizes in Pan-Hellenic competitions as well as two second prizes in the G. Thymis Competition, Greece. He has appeared several times as a soloist with orchestras in Greece and Albania, and has given solo and chamber music recitals in Greece, Albania, Italy, Spain, Belgium, USA and the United Kingdom.

Dr. PATRICIA CAICEDO Soprano & Musicologist



Winner of the XI Concurso Brasileiro de Canto Maria Callas in 2013 for the role of Gilda in Rigoletto, Elisabete Almeida has been tracing a solid path to the opera career.

Born in Salvador, Brazil, she started her studies of music at the School of Music of the Federal University of Bahia where she received a scholarship to attend the University's Professional Madrigal and as a member of the Liric Association of Bahia.

She obtained a Master's Degree on Vocal Performance at The University of Akron, Ohio, USA, under the direction of Dr. Laurie Lashbrook.

In 2016 she received a scholarship from the Kaminsky Foundation in Munich. There she had the opportunity to work with internationally known musicians.

Currently she is voice faculty at the Municipal School of Music in Americana city, Brazil.
